Heloise Flores

Castor and Pollux

A sweet gentle breeze I once felt,

hearth of warmth getting cold

from sacred ashes to filth,

scenes rapidly changed and became dirt.

What happened? I asked.

Are the seraphs guiding you not enough?

burning with light but you run away from what's right.

An immortal view and gift of clairvoyance sight,

Connecting stars to constellations as they unite.

How can this be extraordinary?

Simply some mortal twins with two sides

symbolizes the other half of humankind.

Dark as it can be, wuthering seasons of thee.

Shines in the night sky and stands bright up high.

Beyond the Pacific

Feel the cold ocean breeze,

droplets on your lips

where particles are left unseen.

Waves calling your name at ease,

as seafoams forming clouds in the skies of Greece.

In this fragment I sense our warm paradise,

another chance to be with you until the afterlife.

Where I gently hold your fingertips

as we swim in the ocean of the pacific.

My skin is going pale due to the cold temperature

the cherubims swept me off and shall take me for the departure.

The world was once flat as explorers say,

concluding the fact that everything has an end including our special days.

Ships emerge on the beach shores

so remove the anchor since everyone is on board.

The bright hue of the morning sky dyed the sea blue.

My darling, go deeper.

Go see for yourself that none of what you saw is true.

Beyond the pacific, I yearn for a soul I lost somewhere between mid-June.

Let me just bid that I miss you more than I could ever remember you.
